Find your reference number
Use the account identifier printed on your bill, rather than the meter serial number.
Reference Number: 14 digits
Look in the account-details area near the top of an electricity bill for Reference No. Copy all 14 numeric digits. The example below only illustrates the grouping and is not an account to look up.
A recent payment receipt may also show the reference number. GEPCO warns that some numbers have been revised, so check the latest bill when an older number stops working.
Customer ID
Customer ID is a separate field on the bill. It has 10 digits. If you use it, select Customer ID in the checker. Do not enter a Customer ID while Reference No. is selected.
The U/R selector
Match the selector to the letter shown alongside your reference number on the printed bill. If the letter or identifier is unclear, ask GEPCO to confirm it rather than guessing.
No previous bill available?
Look for a saved bill or a payment receipt for the same connection. Otherwise contact GEPCO through its official website or the office details on your records. This website cannot find an account from a name, address, CNIC, or meter number.
